Billing

How Message24 charges for active conversations, how to check your balance, and how to top up with First Iraqi Bank.

Markdownllms.txt

Message24 is prepaid. You add balance to your business, and Message24 deducts a small amount for each conversation that is active in a month. Check your balance and add credits in Settings > Billing. Only admins can see this page.

You are charged per active conversation, shown on the Billing page as a MAC (monthly active conversation):

  • A conversation becomes a charge the first time it is active in a calendar month: when a customer message arrives, when your team replies, or when the AI replies.
  • Each conversation is charged once per month, no matter how many messages it has. If the same customer writes again next month, it is charged again next month.
  • Only conversations where the customer has written to you count.
  • The price per conversation is shown on the Billing page as Rate per MAC.

The Billing page shows:

  • Current Balance. It turns red with a Low Balance warning when it drops below $5.00.
  • This Month’s Usage: Active Conversations (the MACs charged this billing period), Spent This Month and Rate per MAC.
  • Spending History: conversations charged and amount spent for each month.

If Add Credits appears on your Billing page, you can top up yourself with First Iraqi Bank (FIB):

  1. Choose an amount: $10.00, $25.00, $50.00 or $100.00, or type a custom amount under Or enter a custom amount. The minimum is $1.
  2. Select Continue to payment.
  3. The payment window shows the Amount to pay. If you pay in another currency, it shows that amount and how much will be added to your balance.
  4. Pay with FIB in one of these ways:
    • Scan the QR code with the FIB app.
    • Select the payment code under the QR code to copy it.
    • On your phone, select Personal or Business under Or pay with FIB app to open the app directly.
  5. Keep the window open. It shows Waiting for payment… and changes to Payment received as soon as FIB confirms. Your balance updates automatically.

Each payment code is valid for a limited time, shown as a countdown. If it runs out, you’ll see This payment code has expired. Select Close and start again.

Every top-up is listed under Top-up history with its date, invoice number and amount. Select the download icon to open the invoice as a PDF.

When a top-up is credited, a receipt with the invoice attached is emailed to the person who made the payment and to the business’s admins.
